Punching and Bending
Our
fabrication facility is equipped with the latest in manufacturing
technology. We feature Trumpf TC-2020 CNC punching
machines, providing you with close tolerance, high-speed punching
on an immediate production basis. These machines provide
quiet, hydraulic punching of pattern size sheets for material
economies. The hydraulic punching allows special tools
such as louvers, countersinks, and extrusions to be punched
within the program. The punching head is fully rotational,
which permits any tool to be rotated to any punching angle.
This technology provides you with a wide multitude of hole and
forming possibilities, with minimal lead time.
Our
CAD/CAM programming system will receive your CAD file electronically,
unfold it, and generate a program for our fabricating machines.
The program is downloaded to the production floor, and is immediately
available for part production. It is not unusual for us
to react to emergencies by going from part request to shipment
in two days.
Our normal material range is as follows:
| Carbon
steel |
7
gauge to 24 gauge |
| Aluminum |
.020
to .187 |
| Stainless
steel |
13
gauge to 24 gauge |
Our
bending department features Trumpf and Amada press brakes.
These press brakes, from 35 to 144 tons, provide close tolerance
bending with precision ground tooling.
